The theme of this year's delightful artwork by Culworth Primary Academy children is 'en plein air' on display at Forge Coffee, Culworth. Open daily 9 – 4pm (3pm Sundays).

Brackley-based, mostly working with acrylic on canvas and lino cutting, Adam's style could be described as loose, naïve, bold pop art. Forge Coffee, Evenley NN13 5SQ.
Sat 6 Towcester Handmade Fayre
Monthly craft fair, selling quality handmade homewares, clothes, art and bakes for your delight, all made and sold by local artisans. Towcester Town Hall. 9:30 – 4pm.
Thurs 11 – Sun 21 Song of the Summer– gig theatre
A youth ensemble of local young people perform alongside professional actor-musicians in this coming-of-age comedy drama that explores the highs and lows of teenage life. Set in Northampton in 2006 and featuring original indie rock music inspired by the era, the play dramatises the tension between friendship and artistic integrity, and the joys of creating music with the world at your feet. Recommended age 14+. Produced in partnership by Cherwell Theatre Company, Royal & Derngate and The Picturedrome. The Picturedrome, Kettering Rd, Northampton NN1 4BN. Tickets & info. n.b. Three Inch Fools provide an evening of mischief and hilarity, as five actors present an inventive take on Shakespeare's rip-roaring comedy, fit for all the family. Expect fast-paced drama,

Brackley Youth Theatre's Summer Youth Theatre Project for ages 7 to 16 is now running Monday 15 to Friday 19 August: Make a musical based on Dr Seuss and The Cat in the Hat. Egerton Hall, Brackley, 9.30 – 4pm. Book on Class4Kids.

Radio Drama with Nexus Youth Project, Northampton
NLive Community Radio are offering a great radio drama opportunity for young people (14-18 years) with their youth project Nexus. Fifteen participants will be working within a group to create, perform, record and broadcast a radio drama! One week starting 22 August, Northampton. Info and sign up online.
