Anti-Social Behaviour

A message to the community of Grange Park

The Neighbourhood Policing Team are aware that there have been a number of posts on the Grange Park Facebook page about antisocial behaviour in the area of Foxfield Way and also Foxfield Country Park.

The majority of these incidents have not been reported and we are asking for your support in reporting future antisocial behaviour and any linked issues to the police using the following process:

To report antisocial behaviour, suspicious behaviour and crime:

This helps reduce waiting times on the non-emergency telephone lines

The Neighbourhood Team Email does not enable information to be logged onto the system or give opportunity for police deployment when the issues are happening as this MUST be done by direct reports to our force control room.

Using the dedicated reporting services is the only way that incidents of antisocial behaviour and crime are recorded. Locations are then able to be identified for priority patrols at key times in areas where issues are happening and also enables the control room to deploy police resources to the location at the time of the report where appropriate. The Neighbourhood Team also review all antisocial behaviour incidents and crime reports daily and make contact with those that have reported or witnessed the incident to gather further information that assists targeted patrols and follow up actions with involved persons.

We then have opportunity to send direct cctv requests to those persons in a timely manner so that it can be uploaded and assist any further lines of enquiry.

The Neighbourhood Team Email can be used for non-urgent matters such as someone contact the team for advice , arranging school visits , arranging visits to community groups, and can also be used should you wish to email details such as vehicles / persons linked to using / dealing drugs as if all key information is given our team can submit the required intelligence to build on and progress appropriate actions:

The key information that we need for this includes:

Vehicle Registration

Vehicle Colour and Make ( if known )

Location where it happened

Date and Time it happened ( if known )

What Happened , What did you see , What did you hear?

Description of person /people ( if known )

Our team use the following portals to update the community on current issues and recently included an update on our team Facebook page that asked residents of Grange Park to report antisocial behaviour in the area of Foxfield Country Park.
