Lark Lane Tree Planting

Saturday 9th November : 11 - 4pm

We have 200 tree and hedging saplings including rowan, silver birch, wild cherry, common oak, field maple and grey willow that are being planted on an area of land along Lark Lane opposite the entrance to the allotments. These tree saplings have been kindly provided by The Woodland Trust.

Foxfield gym trail - working group meeting 7th October

The Parish Council are considering a design for an outdoor gym trail to be installed in Foxfield Park. There is an open meeting to be held on Monday 7th October 7:30pm in the Cafe Bar where councillors and residents who would like to be involved can work together to help deliver this project.

Litter Heroes Awards goes to Grange Park

Grange Park has been given a Litter Heroes Award for the efforts put in by those families and individuals who come out each month to help keep Grange Park clean and tidy. They have only been picking up litter since April and have already made a huge difference.

Woodland Trust tree application

GPPC have successfully applied to the Woodland Trust for a Working Wood 105 tree sapling pack, the trees will be delivered in November for planting on the land opposite the Lark Lane Allotments site. This is a project to contribute to the national drive to plant more trees in Community areas in the UK.
