Grange Park Parish Council response to Manor Oak appeal

Last year Manor Oak Homes acting on behalf of the Wake Estate applied for planning permission to build 300 houses and a primary school on the field at the other side of Alamein woods on the Southern edge of Grange Park.

Summer Fest 2020 deferred

The Parish Council have agreed to defer the 2020 Summer Fest planned for later this year until the Government guidelines are clearer on when it will be safe to hold large gatherings and events.

Proposed revisions to Stagecoach timetables - Saturday 22nd / Sunday 23rd February 2020

Stagecoach have advised the Council that they are proposing to make changes to their bus services from Saturday 22nd / Sunday 23rd February.

Northampton bus services : 7/7A/7B and 11/11A

As shown below, Stagecoach are revising service 7 (Grange Park – town centre – Moulton Park / Moulton) on Sunday 3rd November, by withdrawing the section between Grange Park and the town centre. Winter Gritting 2019/2020

Northamptonshire's 22 gritters are now officially on standby for when the cold weather hits, and they have new names too.

In preparation for the cold weather Northamptonshire Highways held their winter service induction at the weekend alongside the gritting teams from the three depots in Brixworth, Towcester and Wellingborough which are now fully stocked with tonnes of salt ready to spread.

Lark Lane Tree Planting

Saturday 9th November : 11 - 4pm

We have 200 tree and hedging saplings including rowan, silver birch, wild cherry, common oak, field maple and grey willow that are being planted on an area of land along Lark Lane opposite the entrance to the allotments. These tree saplings have been kindly provided by The Woodland Trust.
